Prevents the crank from shaking loose
During towing, vibrations can move the crank. Consequently, it is possible that the inside tube with wheel could move downwards out of the outside tube. A wire bracket welded onto the outside tube can be hooked onto the crank in this jockey wheel, thereby preventing this extreme case.

Secures against slipping
The outside tube of the jockey wheel has fluted indentations. The top part of the clamp of the new AE cast-iron Profi or the corresponding cast clamp have corresponding grooves. If the T-Bar of the clamp is only tightened slightly, the jockey wheel cannot slip through, which is what we refer to as an anti-slip device. If the T-Bar is not tightened at all, this anti-slip device will not function either.
